Preparations and full brand list

Hello again, sorry for the lack of updates, we’ve been hard at work on the quest for pretties!

AVCon was amazing, big thanks to everyone who came by, it was great to meet you all. Sadly most of the brand didn’t arrive in time thanks to some delays at customs, but what we did have was snapped up super quick. We hope you all enjoy your SexPot Revenge, Swimmer and Nile Perch!

We have also finished announcing all the brands we will be stocking for now, which are as follows:

Right now we’re getting all our orders finalised for Manifest on the 26-28th of August, we’ve booked a big double booth so we can fill it to the brim with brand and cute, helpful shop assistants! Provided we have no more issues with customs or other shipping delays we should have Angelic Pretty, Metamorphose, Putumayo, Black Peace Now, 6%DOKIDOKI and SexPot Revenge. We’ll also have some pretties by local brands Vitae Clothing and Sparkle Peach, so expect some cute wristcuffs, accessories and deco nails from them. I might also be bringing some things I’m making through my side project Shoujo Sugar, a fairykei and popkei brand which features anime characters instead of 80’s cartoon characters. 

There really will be something for everyone, can’t wait to see you there!!

Conventions and Ponies

If you’ve been following the Facebook page you’ll know that Tokyo Hardcore will be making it’s first public appearance later this month at AVCon, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on the 23rd-24th of July. It’s Adelaide’s biggest anime and gaming convention of the year, and we are super excited to be a part of it!

We will have a booth in the Vendor’s Hall and will be selling all kinds of cute things like accessories, bento boxes and wallets, as well as Swimmer, Nile Perch and SexPot Revenge. If all goes according to plan we will also have Metamorphose, Putumayo and Black Peace Now. This will depend on us receiving the stock in time, but we promise we are doing our best!

Also for sale at AVCon will be the first of the limited edition Tokyo Hardcore plush ponies that I will be making by hand, every single one will be unique and different, not to mention cute as a button! There will only be 144 made, and they’re to both celebrate the Tokyo Hardcore opening and to raise money for making the shop extra extra pretty, so please buy one and lend your support.

Welcome to the Tokyo Hardcore Blog!

This will be your one-stop-shop for trend reports, store updates, photo shoots, tutorials, interviews, brand features and anything else we can think of to help spread the Tokyo Hardcore message of INNOVATION + STYLE + SALVATION.

The lead up to our stalls at AVCon and Manifest, as well as the store opening itself, will be documented here because we think it’s way more fun if you come along for the ride with us. It’s crazy fun and a lot hard work, but we’re doing this for you, because we think the amazing Australian goth and lolita community deserve the chance to have more pretty things.
